A WW1 Casualty, Killed in Action, medal pair awarded to 17751 Sjt A. Sheldon, "C" Coy, 12 Platoon, 20th Battalion The Manchester Regiment.

Arthur Sheldon joined the ranks of the Manchester Regiment, disembarking France with the 20th Battalion on the 9th November 1915. He transferred to the 12th Battalion at some point, and was Killed in Action on the 8th September 1917. His body was never recover and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.

The pair are mounted for display, sold with copied research, including a copy group photograph of “C” Company, 20th (Service) Battalion, where Arthur Sheldon is present, and are as follows -
