A WW1 & WW2 Family Group of Medals awarded to Gnr 812 A. J. Bradshaw, Royal Field Artillery, and J. E Bradshaw.
Alfred James Bradshaw was born on the 26th March, 1895, in Cambridgeshire. He joined the ranks of the Royal Field Artillery on the 3rd February 1913, disembarking France on the 21st November 1915, and was discharged due to “Sickness” on the 21st September 1918 - entitled to wear S.W.B No. 481459
The 1939 Census shows Alfred working at the Defence Office, Regional Commission, Eastern Region, Cambridge and also a special Constable.
His son James L Bradshaw, was born on the 6th November 1920, and the 1939 Census shows him as ‘Joined Cadet Unit 26th Sept 39 awaiting instructions’. His named O.H.M.S. box has the same Cambridge address but there is no indication as to which part of the Army he served in during WW2.
The WW1 trio are mounted for display on original ribbons, sold with copied research and are as follows -

Condition, traces of verdigris on the Victory medal, very fine
The medals to James E Bradshaw are loose in their original named O.H.M.S. box with their original Army Council transmission slip and medal envelopes and are as follows -
1939/45 War Medal and Defence Medal, both unnamed as awarded
Condition, mounted and worn at some point, good very fine
Worthy of further research.
