A WW1 British War & Victory Medal Pair & Special Constabulary Medal Group awarded to 42306 Pte J. Neath, 1/8th Battalion the Royal Scots.

John Neath was from Morborne, Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire) and joined the ranks of the Royal Scots on the 17th April, 1917, serving on the Western Front with the 1/8th Battalion. He transferred to the Royal Engineers at some point (service No. 277028) and was discharged on the 11th of May 1919, due to Piles.

The medals are mounted for wear, on what look to be orignal ribbons, sold with some copied research, and are as follows -

British War Medal & Victory Medal, 42306 PTE J. NEATH. R. SCOTS.; G.VI Special Constabulary Medal, JOHN NEATH.
