Marshall William Wylie originally enlisted into the Black Watch (service number 2755267) on the 25th February 1936, transferring to the Royal Artillery (service number 22258435) on the 12th November 1940. He was “Wounded in Action” on the 20th March 1944 whilst serving with the 149 Anti-Tank Regiment during the Third Battle of Monte Casino (Casualty List No.1413). Wylie was transferred to the Army reserves at the end of WW2 and was recalled for the Korean War, serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Korea retaining the service number 22258435.

Wylie was awarded the Efficiency Medal, Territorial clasp, on the 31st January, 1955, and his records show he was serving with the Royal Corps of Transport in 1971.

The medals are mounted for wear, sold with some copied research, and are as follows -

Condition, the last five medals have been cleaned and dipped at some point, otherwise good to very fine and better
