An Interesting WW1 1914 Star Trio & L.S.&G.C. Medal Group awarded to 7868712 WO2 H.E. Kendall, 18th Battalion The Tank Corps, late the Army Service Corps.

Harold Edward Kendall was born during 1885 at Mhow, Bengal, India. Kendall joined the ranks of the Army Service Corps on the 12th of October, 1910, and with the outbreak of WW1, he landed in France on the 5th of October, 1914. He served with the 21st Field Ambulance Division before transfering to the 18th Battalion the Tank Corps.

W.O.2 Kendall was awarded his L.S.&.G.C. Medal in Army Orders 145, 1922.

The medals are mounted for display on original ribbons, sold with copied research confirming the medals are to the same man, and are as follows -

1914 Star, with rosette (clasp missing), T-21125 SJT H.G. KENDALL. A.S.C.; British War Medal, T-21125 W.O. C.L. 2. H.E. KENDALL. A.S.C.; Victory Medal, original ERASED naming; Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, G.V 1st type, 7868712 W.O. C.L. II. H.E. KENDALL. TANK CORPS.

We do not see many L.S.&G.C. medals named to the Tank Corps
