Frederick Cecil Yarwood was born the 13th of July, 1914, at Torquay, Devon.
He joined the ranks of the R.A.F.V.R. on the 12th of June 1941, seeing service in Italy, Africa, and North West Europe. Frederick served with 244 Wing, as part of the Central Mediterranean Force, as well as a variety of other units, all of which are listed on an original typed document that is included with the research.
Frederick died on the 5th of February, 1995, at Torbay hospital.
The medals are mounted as worn, sold with copied research, original documents confirming his medal/clasp entitlement, service book and theatres of operation, and are as follows -
1939/45 Star; France Germany Star; Africa Star, clasp 1st Army; Italy Star; 1939/45 Defence Medal, all unnamed as issued.
