A WW1 Royal Navy British War Medal awarded to 357329 Chief Ships Cook, William Abbott.

William Abbott was born 28th June, 1880, at Islington, North London. He joined the Royal Navy 19th December, 1900. He spent the Great War serving on land bases and was discharged from the Royal Navy 7th September, 1920.

The medal is on a piece of ribbon, sold with a copy of his Record of Service and is named as follows -

357329 W. ABBOTT. CH. SH. CK. R. N.

Condition, the medal has been cleaned at some point, otherwise Good Very Fine and better.
