Albert Edwin Piddock was born in Lambeth on the 30th May, 1882, initially find work as a labourer. He joined the ranks of the Royal Navy on the 13th of May 1900, serving aboard H.M.S. Impregnable.
During WW1 he served aboard H.M.S. Glory, joining its crew on the 11th of April 1916, through to the 21st of March 1918. During his service aboard Glory, she transferred to the North American and West Indies station, and then sore action during the Dardenelles campaign. He then transferred to the shore bases H.M.S Veron and Victory, where he remained for the remainder of the War.

Condition, cleaned at some point, otherwise good very fine
