A WW1 Victory Medal & G.V L.S.&G.C. Medal Pair awarded to 6334220 Pte J.T. Wheeler, Corps of Military Police, late 1st Battalion the Royal West Kent Regiment.

J.T. Wheeler was born on the 22nd April, 1891, and originally joined the ranks of the Royal West Kent Regiment, seving with the 1st Battalion in Mesopotamia from the 1st February, 1915 (service No.9265). At some point he transferred to the Military Foot Police (service No.P12658), and then to the Corps of Military Police (service No.6334220). His L.S.&G.C. Medasl was awarded on the 20th June 1928.

Pte Wheeler served with the R.W.K Regiment from the 1st February 1915 to the 27th June 1916 and the Military Foot Police from the 3rd May 1917 to the 11th November 1918 (Armistice Day).
