A WW1 Royal Navy L.S.&G.C. Medal Group/Trio awarded to 347600 C.P.O. Writer R.J. Wyatt, an unusual rank.

Reginald James Wyatt was born on 14th September 1891 at Torpoint, Cornwall, and joined the ranks of the Royal Navy on the 14th September 1909 as a Boy Sailor, and then 3rd Writer on 14th September 1912.

During the Great War he served in H.M.S Vivid (shore base) 6.10.14 - 17.5.17, H.M.S Suffolk (armoured cruiser) 17.5.17 - 5.6.19 and then served in H.M.S Drake (shore base) during the outbreak of WW2 as a Chief petty Officer, through to the 29th November 1941 - Wyatt will also have a WW2 medal entitlement, but is not entitled to the 1914/15 Star, medal roll refers.

The medals are mounted as worn on original ribbons, sold with copied research, two original naval themed picture postcards and are as follows -
