A WW1 1914 Star Trio & Imperial Service Medal Group awarded to 126 Pte D. Campbell, 1st Battalion The Royal Highlanders/Black Watch.

David Campbell disembarked France, on the 13th August, 1914, with the 1st Battalion the Royal Highlanders (Black Watch). Subject to illness or injury, he would have been present at the Battle of Mons and the subsequent retreat, The Battle of the Marne, The Battle of the Aisne, the First Battle of Ypres, and the winter operations of late 1914, early 1915.

Pte Campbell transfered to the 1st Garrison Battalion, the North Staffordshire Regiment on the 3rd of May 1916, with the service number 23879.

The medals are mounted for display, on original ribbons, sold with some copy research, an orignal Black Watch Association badge (pin missing from the reverse), and are as follows -
