A Great War 1914 Star Trio awarded to 2636 Pte W. Goodey, 3rd Battalion the Rifle Brigade, later 6th D.C.C, Army Cyclist,Corps.

William Joseph Goodey enlisted into the Rifle Brigade on the 27th January, 1908, and disembarked France on 10th September, 1914, with the 2nd Battalion, serving on the Western Front. At some point he transferred to the 6th D.C.C., Army Cyclist Corps (service No. 1194). Pte Goodey was discharge from the Army on the 30th August 1916, due to sickness attributed to overseas service, and is entitled to wear S.W.B. No. 7373.

The medals are mounted for display, sold with some copied research and are as follows -

Condition, minuscule traces of verdigris on the VM, otherwise very fine.
